This blog is being made in light of our first vandal (ahh, who knew the day would come?) In any case, there are rules for expressing concerns in regards to a specific theory stated clearly in both the Manual of Style and the Rules and Regs. In case some of you haven't yet seen them, they're located on our front page for all to see. If you're too lazy to go look, I'll lay them out here for you.

Comments

Comments go in the comment section, which is located at the bottom of every theory page. We keep them because we realize that not everyone will agree on a theory. We strive to keep new ideas coming in and if two individuals have differing ideas, we want those to be expressed. Please keep in mind that everyone has opinions and we should always be courteous of others.

Pages

Another reason for the comment section is we do not want people adding information to pages. Authors set up the pages the way they wanted them for a reason; however, we still allow simple grammar or spelling changes for ease of reading. If, when reading a theory, you find it is not correct, leave a comment. Do not change the page to make it correct.

Courtesy

Everyone has feelings. If there are conflicting ideas, please remain as polite and cordial as possible. Any flame wars are not allowed as they never accomplish anything except pissing everyone off. It is possible to state a differing idea without being rude or overly critical and if someone refuses to do so, they will be dealt with. Any issues regarding a problem like that should be brought to an admin right away.

I hope that these simple rules help everyone in their future endeavors here on the wiki. Please keep them in mind at all times. Thank you! ManicShorty (talk) 14:47, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
